Depends whose datasheet you read, but often the 2N2222 is a plastic TO-92

600mA device and the -A suffix a TO-18 canned 800mA device.

Are you sure they don't have another "2" (2N2222) in the part number?
2N222 was a germanium audio transistor from the '60s.

You mean 2N2222 don't you ?

Why not read a data sheet ?

And why do you want to use such an ancient inferior device ?

And don't post to non-existent groups either !

No ! Come back here to read the replies. Are you too lazy to do that ?

Usenet doesn't exist for your personal convenience.
