what is the relation betwen the current(I) that activate the laser and
th output power(W)?

The electro-optic conversion efficiency is in the range of about 30%.
Therefore, for every mW of optical power it takes about 3.3mW of
electrical power.

Sam's LaserFAQ. Google knoweth all, it's hosted, and mirrored widely. It's
big, but contains probably everything you need, will cite sources where
they are known, and best of all, has lots of practical input from many
people. I've found it to be second only to hands on access, no book comes
close to it.
