However, always make sure that you test your camera to make sure it's getting signals in clear even when you're using the internet.

A second major problem with wireless cameras is that the signal can be hacked into if you don't secure it properly. If you don't enable the security features from your receiver, anyone with a laptop and the right type of software will be able to tap into your camera's feed. A third problem is that even though they don't require you to run any wires from camera to receiver, they still require you to find an outlet for the camera.
